A 2006 addition to the McDowell Activity Center, the Richard A. Tschider Center for Health Science provides space to serve the physical therapy, exercise science, and athletic training programs with classrooms, labs, faculty offices, and a conference room. It is named for a long-time administrator of St. Alexius Medical Center, Richard A. Tschider. Mr. Tschider and his wife, Sharon, believe in the Benedictine Sisters' dream to serve the health care needs of the people of the region at an ever higher standard of excellence. Scott Weight Room: Named in recognition of Homer A. and Janet Scott of Sheridan, Wyoming, for their commitment to instilling values of integrity and service through the platform of athletics, Scott Weight Room provides strength training for athletic teams and general student use through weight equipment that complements the fitness place.
