Student Government

Students are actively involved in the University through student government as well as through University-wide committees and councils. The Student Senate is composed of annually elected senators and officers. The Senate selects members to serve on a variety of campus committees. Within the Student Senate is the Student Activities Committee, a group of students who coordinate a variety of campus-wide activities, including movies, concerts, and dances. Students have a voice in University policies and programs through membership on the following campus-wide committees: the Academic Affairs Council, the Student Development Council, and the University Senate.
