  1. www.nationaleatingdisorders.org: National Eating Disorders Association. EDAP is the nation’s largest nonprofit organization devoted to the awareness and prevention of eating disorders. This website also addresses body image and weight issues.

  1. www.centerforchange.com: Center for Change. This is a treatment center webpage. But under Information and Resources they have very good articles and other information.

  1. www.mentalhealth.samhsa.gov: United States Department of Health and Human Services – Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA’S). This site has credible information on eating disorders.

  1. www.nutrition.gov: This site has a variety of nutritional information. It provides facts on dietary supplements, weight management, the food pyramid, and much more!

  1. www.5aday.gov: Sponsored by the National Institute of Health and National Cancer Institute. Fruits and vegetables are essential for proper health. This site discusses how many fruits and vegetables we should eat a day and why. It also discusses correct serving sizes and has research based articles.

  1. www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/nutrition: Sponsored by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. This allows you to do a medline search regarding a variety of nutritional information.

It discusses Guidelines for Eating Well and Being Active, Taking Control of Your Weight, and tools to calculate BMI, daily calorie needs, and target heart rate.
