Graduate Employment Survey
Career Services annually conducts a survey of the previous year's graduates to determine the percentage who are either employed or continuing their education. All data received from students is confidential and is not used individually but rather pooled collectively into their broader major and/or division. Historically, the percentage of traditional undergraduate students employed or continuing their education six to 12 months following graduation has exceeded 90 percent. Students typically remain in North Dakota, often in the Bismarck-Mandan area. A small percentage of students attend graduate or professional school across the United States. Typically, employers include: MDU, Basin Electric, NISC, St. Alexius Medical Center, and Medcenter One.

Data from the survey is published in an annual employment report that is sent to the University of Mary president, vice presidents, division chairs, and program directors. The results are then often incorporated into literature disseminated by the respective university majors.
