The University of Mary began its accelerated degree program in Bismarck in August of 1996 to meet the needs of adult learners wanting to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Its accelerated format is designed specifically to give students the flexibility needed to earn a degree while meeting the demands of family life and work. Students attend class one night per week on a year-round basis. They can complete the management curriculum in as few as 15 months.
Students enrolled in University of Mary accelerated degree programs and courses meet at the University of Mary Butler Center building, at 505 South 7th Street in Bismarck, ND. The Butler Center is open from 8 a.m.– 8:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. An academic advisor and an administrative assistant are available on-site. The Butler Center houses eight classrooms, an administrative office, and a kitchenette. The classrooms have projector carts, TV/VCR, and wireless Internet to enhance students' learning experiences.
