The inspiration for the Harold Schafer Leadership Center comes directly form the life and career of North Dakota entrepreneur Harold Schafer, who founded the Gold Seal Company, helped hundreds of young people realize their dreams and put the town of Medora on the map as an outstanding tourist destination.

Purpose

• To offer model, values-based educational experiences for present and future entrepreneurs and leaders
• To foster a greater appreciation for the free enterprise system
• To provide students in the Emerging Leaders Academy with unique leadership skills and abilities
• To lead a growing North Dakota and thriving plains region into the future
