| Leslie Olson is a 5-foot-8 outside hitter from Fargo, ND, who led Fargo South High School to the 2007 North Dakota Class A title. An All-State player as a senior and a member of the state all-tournament team, Olson earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior. The Fargo South team captain, Olson was nominated for the EDC Senior of the Year. She led her team with 307 kills in 2007 and made over 1,000 digs in her career. The daughter of Roger and Barbara Olson, Leslie is a member of the national honor society and will major in elementary education.
Olson will also compete in track and field for the Marauders. She was the state runner-up in both the long jump and triple jump last year.
"Leslie Olson’s athleticism and will to compete and win will make her a valuable asset to our team next season," said Marauders head coach Heidi Sunderland. "She comes from a very strong high school team and her experience on that team has helped her to become a fine volleyball player. Her quickness and pure athleticism will be a positive addition to our team." |
