The University of Mary Marauders track and field clinics attract capacity attendance each year. Why? Athletes who participate receive practical, down-to-earth, quality instruction! They take home a greater knowledge of their event that will bring their future performance to a higher level. The seventh annual Marauder All-American Pole Vault Clinic will be no exception. For only $50, coaches and athletes of all ages will have the opportunity to work with U-Mary coaches Kyle Herman and Kristen Schwehr.

All-American Learn-By-Doing Track & Field Clinic Sunday, February 24, 2008
The University of Mary is proud to host one of the best learning opportunities for coaches and athletes in the nation on February 24, 2008. Four-time National Coach of the Year Mike Thorson and his staff and athletes will treat athletes and coaches to exciting activities and instruction that will include principles of training, fundamental techniques, periodization, training methods and performance- enhancing strategies. The day is available to coaches and athletes for only $25.
The Facility The University of Mary Leach Center for Student Life houses Leach Field House, which features a state-of-the-art 160-meter, six-lane, mondo track. It is one of the nation’s finest athletic facilities for competition and training. Clinic Objective The All-American Learn-By-Doing Clinic is designed to provide track and field athletes with practical instruction in ways to improve their performance.
Who can benefit from the clinic? Athletes of all ages and skill levels, as well as coaches, are welcome. The clinic is designed as a learning experience for all levels of development.
