HITTING AND DEFENSE CAMP:
This all-day camp is designed for beginner and intermediate players with an emphasis on fundamental skills. Each participant will receive quality instruction and practice opportunities in all fundamentals. Each participant will be involved with breakdown drills for hitting with emphasis on grip, stance, body position, footwork, hand-eye coordination, and swing. Each will also be instructed on the fundamentals of defense, focusing on the breakdown of mechanics of throwing and infield/outfield positions.

AGES:
The camp is open to any players between the ages of 10-18. The participants will then be grouped with others of the respective age.

FACILITIES AND TIME:
· Camp will be held in the Leach Field House and the Activity Center (main gymnasium) on the campus of the University of Mary

· Two batting cages

· The camp will run from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM with check-in beginning at 8:30 AM

· Lunch will be served

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION:

*All participants must register by returning application in order to attend the camp. All participants are to report to the Leach Field House for check-in. All participants should be prepared to participate (shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes, glove, and bat). All will receive a Marauder Softball t-shirt!
