Brad Walsh is in his third year leading the Marauders baseball program. No stranger to U-Mary, Walsh formerly coached the Marauders softball team. Walsh graduated from Mayville State University with a degree in education.
Under Walsh's leadership, the Marauders softball team claimed many conference titles, conference tournament titles, and regional titles. Marauders softball regularly finished in the top four regionally. Throughout his softball coaching career at the University of Mary, Walsh coached several NAIA First Team All-Americans, NAIA Second Team All-Americans, NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and All-Conference players.
Walsh believes that any obstacle can be overcome by hard work and team unity. He also stresses the importance of education to his team members.
"If my players come out every day prepared to play and give 100 percent at practice and in games, then I believe we will be prepared to do well at any level of competition," says Walsh.
Eddie Streeter is in his first year as a graduate assistant after serving a year as a student assistant in the 2007 season. Streeter is from Modesto CA and played for Modesto Junior in 2003 and 2004 before transferring to the University of Mary.
Streeter graduated in the spring of 2007 with a degree in Physical Education. He is now pursuing his masters at the University of Mary in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In August of 2007 he married KXMB sports anchor and former Marauder volleyball setter Tia Elzenga.

Ryan Astle returns to the Marauders coaching staff for his sixth consecutive year as head pitching coach. Coach Astle is from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, and played for the College of the Desert in 1998 and 1999. Astle transferred to the University of Mary in 2001, and finished an outstanding career in 2002, breaking many of U-Mary's season and career records.
He graduated in 2002 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and later received his Master’s Degree in Education in the summer of 2007.
Astle started his coaching career in 1999 with the St. Albert Tigers, leading the team to a fourth-place finish at Canadian National Junior Championships in 2003. He and his wife, Jennifer (Voegele), who is a former Marauders volleyball standout, both teach in the Bismarck Public School system and have a 2 year-old son, Rigley Allan.

Matt Espinosa Student Coach | Matt Espinosa is in his second year as a student coach for the Marauders baseball program. Espinosa played for Monterey Junior College before transferring to the University of Mary in 2004. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
