Billings, MT - Using a stifling defense and great outside shooting, the University of Mary defeated Rocky Mountain College 74-60 on the road.
Tied 28-all at the half, U-Mary outscored RMC 46-32 after intermission. The Marauders shot 50 per cent from the field in the second half while holding Rocky Mountain to 32 per cent shooting, the same as the first half.
Nicci Landdeck again led the Marauders in both scoring and rebounding. She hit for 21 points and eight rebounds. Corrie Villegas scored 17 points and knocked down three treys in the game. Kayla Rogers was the third U-Mary player to reach double digits, scoring 12 points while going 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.
U-Mary improves to 4-6. Rocky Mountain falls to 4-9.
