Here are four members of the team who had particularly notable successes at the meet:

Men’s Track: Senior captain Tim Leier (Esmond, ND) placed third at the Montana State Open in Bozeman against NCAA Division I competition with a Northern Sun conference-leading performance of 49.44 in the 400 Meter. He also ran on the 3^rd-place 4x400 meter relay team that recorded the top time in the NSIC (3:24.55).

Men’s Field: Josh Obrigewitch, a junior from Bismarck, ND, placed third in the shot put with a 53-3 ½ performance at the Montana State Open in Bozeman against NCAA Division I competition. He leads the NSIC with a 54-5 ½ performance in the shot put.

Women’s Track: Freshman Mishay Weber (Beulah, ND) placed fourth in the 200 Meter with a conference-leading time of 26.14 at the Montana State Open in Bozeman against NCAA Division I competition. She also placed third in the 55 Meter with a time of 7.45.

Women’s Field: Kayla Campbell, a senior from Bottineau, ND, placed second in the long jump at the Montana State Open against NCAA Division I competition with the leading jump in the NSIC – 17-5 ¼. Campbell also placed third in the triple jump with a 36– ¾ jump.

If U-Mary competed in the Big Sky conference, comprised of all NCAA Division I colleges, several Marauders would have qualified for the Big Sky conference meet.

Senior Marsha-Gaye Knight (Kingston, Jamaica) finished second in the 55 Meter Hurdles in what would have been a Big Sky meet qualifying time of 8.47. Knight also placed seventh in the 55 Meter and 10^th in the 200 Meter.

Destinee Keller, a junior from Beulah, ND, placed second in the triple jump with a performance of 37-0 ¼.

Senior Josh Dinius (Langdon, ND) finished second in the 55 Meters in a qualifying time of 6.52. He also placed third in the 55 Meter Hurdles (7.93) and sixth in the 200 Meter (22.94).

Kiel Holwegner, a sophomore from Bismarck, ND, finished second in the 55 Meter Hurdles in a would-be qualifying time of 7.81.

Obrigewitch’s shot put toss of 53-3 ½ would also have qualified him for the Big Sky meet.

Additionally, sophomore Kayce Sweep (Bismarck, ND) also had a strong meet for the Marauders. She placed second in the 55 Meter (7.41) and ninth in the 200 Meter (26.96).
