Aberdeen, SD - The University of Mary claimed the top two spots in the Northern State University Women’s Golf Invite, held today at the Moccasin Creek Country Club. Martina Bieber shot a 79 to claim the individual title. Teammate Amanda Deis brought home an 85 to tie for second.

A senior from Center, ND, Bieber shot a 37 on the front nine and a 42 coming into the clubhouse. Deis is a freshman who’s 85 tied her for second place. She had a 39 and a 46.

Bieber and Deis were the only two golfers who competed in the meet for the Marauders, so U-Mary was ineligible for the team title.

The Marauders are next in action at the Concordia College Cobber Invite, held in Detroit Lakes, MN, on Sept. 7-9.
