U-Mary Welcomes Dr. Tom Porter as New Choral Director Dr. Tom Porter, '79, has joined
the University of Mary music faculty to lead the school's choral
program. Porter, a Mandan, ND, native a U-Mary grad, also holds degrees
from Notre Dame and DePaul University, and a doctorate from University

between the University of Mary and the Bismarck-Mandan community will
be on display once again this summer. On Friday,
July 4, Director of Bands and Brass Studies Dennis Gowen and two

Anderson’s “Bugler’s Holiday” as special soloists with the

year that the University of Mary will host an Elderhostel program for
people 55 and older. After the positive response to its program
focusing on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, this year the U-Mary
program will center on Theodore Roosevelt's time in North Dakota. more>>
