U-Mary to Host Second Annual Artists Celebrating Christ Event, March 13-15
The second annual Artists Celebrating Christ will be held March 13-15, 2008, at the university's Benedictine Center for Servant-Leadership. This three-day "Christian
Renaissance Festival" glorifying Christ through visual/sanctuary art,
music, dance and drama, will include a special memorial exhibit
featuring the work of world-renowned liturgical artist David Hetland. This year's entire program is free and open to the public. more>>
U-Mary to Perform 'The Importance of Being Earnest,' April 10-12
The University of Mary will present "The Importance of Being Earnest," a play by Oscar Wilde, April 10-12, in Arno Gustin Hall on the U-Mary campus. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday, with a 2 p.m. matinee and 7:30 p.m. show on Saturday, April 12. more>>

Al Bortke,
known among fellow athletic directors across the country for his fiery,
hard-nose style as a basketball coach and respected administrator,
announced he is stepping down as the University of Mary’s
