Join Us for Jazz at UMJF 2008! The 35th annual University of Mary Jazz Festival will be held Feb. 1 and 2, with the UMJF Concert taking place Friday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m., in the Bismarck Civic Center. Tickets are $10 each and available at Eckroth Music, Lee’s Hallmark (Kirkwood Mall), the U-Mary Music Department, or at the door. This year’s outstanding roster of guest artists includes Nicolas Bearde, Mario DiCiutiis, Jim Mair, David K. University of Mary to Host Presentation by National Teacher of the Year 2007
National Teacher of the Year Andrea Peterson will share her
perspectives on education Jan. 31, as part of U-Mary’s Spring 2008
Convocation Series. She will speak on “Learning, Exploring,
Interacting, Serving — Connections That Matter” in Arno Gustin Hall at
11 a.m. The presentation is free and open to the community. Alums
