U-Mary Awards 855-Plus Degrees -- Including First to Online Grads -- At 47th Commencement
Former Governor Art Link, and wife, Grace, receive honorary doctorates.
A total of 856 degrees were
awarded by the University of Mary at its 2007 commencement ceremony,
April 28, at the Bismarck Civic Center. They included 53 executive,
health care, management, and nurse administrator MBAs that were granted
to the first graduates of the university's online program, as well as
more than 411 degrees that were presented to students who studied at one of
the growing number of U-Mary adult education sites. The university also
conferred the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree on the 22 graduates who
comprised its second doctoral class. more>>

Brunskill Named NSIC Softball Rookie of the Year; Ward, Brunskill, Lunn Earn All-Conference Honors
Three University of Mary softball players earned 2007 All-Northern Sun
Intercollegiate Conference honors, headlined by Dre Brunskill as the
NSIC Rookie of the Year. Brunskill and Meghan Ward were both named to
the NSIC All-Conference Team and Maegan Lunn earned honorable mention

U-Mary Tharaldson School of Business Student Elected to International Office
Stephanie Sandstrom, Minot, ND,
a senior at the University of Mary, was elected president of the Delta
Epsilon Chi (DEX) organization for 2007-2008. DEX is the college
division of DECA, Inc., which provides professional development and
leadership activities for more than 13,000 students from over 200
