The University of Mary invites you to participate in a scholarship competition. Based on your academic abilities you will have the opportunity to compete against other students in an essay/interview competition. Each participant will be awarded a Sr. Thomas Welder Leadership Scholarship of not less than $3500 and have a chance to win one of the following: one - full-tuition scholarship, one - 70% tuition scholarship, and eight - 50% tuition scholarships.
These scholarships are renewable for students who maintain the necessary grade point average. The competition will involve four areas: GPA, ACT, an in-class essay and a personal interview with faculty and staff members.
To reserve your space in the competition, you will need to provide us with the following information by November 19, 2008, (if you have not already done so).

Remember, you will be guaranteed a minimum four year $3500 Scholarship at the University of Mary. That's $14,000 over four years! This scholarship cannot be combined with any other institutional (athletic, activity, staff benefit, etc.) financial aid.
