 Move to Step 2

The road to financial assistance takes only a few easy steps. Use the "Next" and "Back" buttons to navigate through the steps.

Step 1 : Apply for a personal identification number (PIN) from the Federal Student Aid website at http://www.pin.ed.gov/ or click on the FSA icon below. The PIN allows you to electronically sign your application for federal aid.  If you already have a pin, continue to step 2.

Keep your PIN in a safe place, you will need it every year!

Q: Do I have to apply for a PIN
?
A: We highly recommend it.  The most efficient way to complete and correct the FAFSA application is to obtain your PIN.  You will be able to electronically sign your FAFSA and other important financial aid forms with your PIN.

Q:  Who should apply for a PIN?
A:
Both you and the parent providing information on your FAFSA should apply for a PIN.
