I have been teaching at the University of Mary since 2003. I have taught undergraduate classes in all the levels of the nursing program. I previously was employed as an instructor at United Tribes Technical College for eight years in a licensed practical nursing program. My professional background includes extensive experience in many nursing areas such as: critical care, emergency room, medical surgical, nursing home, transitional care, oral/plastic surgery, outpatient clinics, extended rehab, pain clinic, endo-pulmonary lab, pre-admission and nursing in a correctional facility.

Statement on Servant Leadership ...
"Servant-leaders must show genuine respect and caring without pretense. In the health care field, servant-leaders embrace unconditional service to all people. My goal is to assist students to collaborate with other members of the health care team to assist patients to reach their highest health potential. Professional nurses must exhibit humility, listen willingly, and receive criticism and/or advice openly to better serve others."
