I started at the University of Mary in the fall of 2006. I served on the committee to assess core values, chaired development of the Master of Counseling program, helped organize the North Dakota Lieutenant Governor's Symposium, and participated in public relations-related activities throughout the year.

On Servant-Leadership . . .
The development of servant-leadership begins with a commitment to professional standards and is a product of the core values of respect for others in society. Ethics and integrity are values that I stress inside and outside of the classroom; I believe we develop as people if we are open to discussion, but also reflective of the values that are important to building a community as servant-leaders.
