I would like to welcome you to the Division of Education at the University of Mary, America's Leadership University. As Chair of the Division of Education I want you to know that our primary mission is to prepare dedicated and competent professional teachers and school administrators. Students in the Division of Education receive a strong philosophy- and performance-based education that is built on the Benedictine, Catholic, and Christian tradition of the University of Mary. I am extremely proud of the quality of our faculty and believe we have the best prepared pre-service teachers and school administrators in the region.
The Division of Education is accredited by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board and offers majors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We prepare teachers and administrators who have the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to succeed in today's world.
I encourage you to visit our Web pages to gain a deeper understanding of the education majors we offer at the University of Mary. In particular, please visit our undergraduate online student teacher portfolios to see for yourself the "quality" of our graduates.
If you have an questions about our programs, please feel free to contact me directly or any of our program coordinators.
