Progression in the Undergraduate Program

Students are advised to refer to each course syllabus for criteria for passing the course.

A student who receives less than a grade of a C or receives a W/F in a nursing course must repeat that course prior to, or concurrent with, taking any other nursing courses. (Students retaking a course will be admitted to that course on a space-available basis only.)

A student who receives a grade of less than a C or receives a W/F in any two nursing courses or in the same course twice will be dismissed from the program.

A student who withdraws twice from a course with a W, W/P, or W/F must meet with his or her advisor for academic planning and must reapply to the Division of Nursing, in order to continue in the program.
