Program Learning Experiences
· Philosophy-based curriculum implemented by experienced full-time faculty with K-6 teaching experience
· Participation in global experiences:
o Global Experience (Italy)
o Global Experience (South Korea)
· Participation in the Emerging Leaders Academy, a four-
year program in educational leadership
· Participation in the Institute for Educational Leadership, an educational leadership conference held at the University of Mary
· Involvement in professional organizations (e.g. North Dakota Education Association) as either participants and/or presenters
· Full-time teaching experiences in classrooms with licensed teachers prior to student teaching that provide unique hands-on teaching opportunities
· Mentoring and collaborative research opportunities with full-time faculty
· Participation in a Student Teaching Cadre, which provides students with the unique opportunity to teach side-by-side with three student teachers and cooperating teachers (student teacher portfolios).
