Luminosa

An Evening of Sacred Music

Each December, we welcome the warmth and radiance of the Advent season with Luminosa: Cappella by Candlelight. Featuring performances from our chorus, a distinguished guest ensemble, and area Catholic high school choirs, this yearly sacred music gathering brings Christian educators, student musicians, Mary alumni, and special friends of the university to the Twin Cities for an unforgettable winter evening of festivity and fellowship.

2023 Luminosa: Saturday, December 9

We invite you to join us and Monsignor James Shea, president of the University of Mary, at our third annual Luminosa event. With the Cathedral of Saint Paul Schola headlining, this year’s lineup will include choirs from Cretin-Derham Hall, Chesterton Academy of the St. Croix Valley, Holy Family Catholic High School, St. Agnes School, Unity High School, and Visitation High School.
